PKFZ: MACC Chief Brushed Off PAC

The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) was first summoned to the Public Accounts Committee (PAC) to clarify matters regarding the Port Klang Free Zone (PKFZ) scandal on the 17 June 2009. However, the MACC Chief Commissioner, Dato' Ahmad Said Hamdan brushed off the PAC like we were a fly on his shoulder.

He didn't even bother sending his Deputy Chief. Instead he sent his Director of Investigations, Datuk Mohd Shukri Abdull with a letter informing of his absence.
The PAC members were of course livid. Ahmad Said did not even bother attempting to justify or explain his absence. Even the normally gentle PAC chairman, Datuk Seri Azmi Khalid was upset.
The response from Datuk Mohd Shukri bin Abdull was:
My goodness! "ada tugas yang lebih penting"! More important than the most important committee (PAC) of the highest legislative body of the country?!

We were disgusted, or well, at least I was.
Tuan Pengerusi: Okey... [Ketawa] Kalau saya izinkan semua Ahli PAC ini bercakap, saya rasa meletup juga lah. Biarlah saya sebut.

Datuk Haji Mohd Shukri bin Abdull: Tuan Pengerusi...

So MACC wasted our time, we postponed the meeting which was subsequently held a week later on 23 June. I can let you know here that when Ahmad Said came for the meeting then, he did not even have the courtesy to apologise for his absence in the previous meeting! What a ....! That's one of the reasons why we have argued that when the bill on MACC was debated in parliament last year, the agency must be placed under the purview of the Parliament, so that we can keep this cocky spaniels in check.

Tony,

It is not the MACC.

Please ask Uncle Lim to shift the target to Najib.

Use PKFZ to topple Najib. Why keeping it on OTK ? MACC ?

Pressure the PM, not the small character.

Where's Anwar ? What he is doing? If he plans to be the PM in waiting, ask him to do his job.

The incompetent and arrogant BN ass licker should be sacked. He's unfit for the position. And he has the thick face to tell us that the public should support MACC?

These bloody umno goons are so bloody arrogant. They don't give a dame. I'm saying if PR is voted in after GE13, the 1st thing najis will do is declace emergency. No way will they give in to PR, for they know what the consequences will be. They can't risk answering for their actions. Yes, umno besides being ARROGANT they are bloody COWARDS.
(Anwar seems to be dissappointing of late.)

Dear Sir,
Their "ada tugas yang lebih penting" is to track down DAP assemblymen and law makers based on unfounded evident ground in order to derogate them nicely. And which were selectively doing for BN to quagmire PR political strenght. Compare it with the important of wrecking PR to scandal of PKFZ, the later is the shit matter to them.
1) Anwar sodomy 2
2) Eli Wong scrupulous photos exposition.
3) Ronnie's local mafia connection with love.
4) Cow-head protestation by God's chosen sons.
These few items are much more important than PKFZ fiasco. These all can be suspected are the jobs of M'ada celekal cumpuran.
No matter how it is going to turn out in this misgovernment of scandal, PR's important people have to pay more attention to expose it to public in order to disgrace them at those omnipotent government machinery arms are incapable to help governing this country properly and efficiently.
How conspicuously that BN is mentality weakened by its worries and anxieties that PR will be growing stronger in power which will enable PR take over the federal government.
PAS unity connection with Umno shall be over now at the moment. Tok Guru of PAS had powerfully shown his anger about it. This unwanted unity talk is going to fold up by itself politically. A tactic set by BN to cock against PR and Anwar should be temporary settled and smiling off.
